Deep Cycle Hub Pvt. Ltd. is a women-led green technology startup building a structured, technology-enabled first-mile e-waste collection ecosystem in Tamil Nadu. The company addresses the most critical gap in the e-waste value chain, the absence of organised, citizen-friendly collection systems at the point of waste generation.
Through its initiative Soolal Singam, Deep Cycle Hub enables households, schools, institutions, corporates, and local bodies to safely dispose of e-waste through digital scheduling, EV-based doorstep collection, district-level aggregation, and smart public collection infrastructure.The company operates a company-owned execution model in its early phase, managing its own collection points, pickup teams, and logistics across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
Deep Cycle Hub was selected as a Top 3 Winner at Puthozhil Kalam 2025, a district-level social entrepreneurship initiative, and received a non-equity seed grant in recognition of its green technology and social impact innovation.
The startup also develops PARI (Public Access Recycling Infrastructure)a smart e-waste collection system for schools, institutions, corporates, and public spaces bringing traceability, transparency, and compliance to decentralised collection. Supported by a central digital dashboard, Deep Cycle Hub integrates routing, inventory tracking, recycler coordination, and impact reporting. The company is co-founded by Deepthi Cascarino, who leads operations, and Joseph Cascarino, who drives product, partnerships, and technology strategy.

As the founder of Caruvadu, CEAFUD, and Corkai, he has consistently worked at the intersection of sustainability, local livelihoods, and circular systems. His leadership roles, including Chair of Climate Change at Yi Thoothukudi and NewGen Director at the Rotary Club of Tuticorin, reflect his deep commitment to climate action and community empowerment. At Deep Cycle Hub, Joseph drives the vision for a zero-waste Tamil Nadu through practical, tech-enabled solutions.

Deepthi is a passionate environmentalist and entrepreneur, bringing strong financial and strategic expertise to the movement. She has managed budgets exceeding ₹1.5 crore and founded two purpose-driven ventures, Hya Creatives and Daisy Lanka Batik, that reflect her focus on sustainable enterprise and local craftsmanship. With a background in commerce and a sharp understanding of impact-driven finance, Deepthi ensures that Soolal Singams initiatives are not just meaningful, but also sustainable and scalable. She plays a key role in aligning education, outreach, and operations with long-term circular economy goals.
Together, Joseph and Deepthi launched PARI, Public Access Recycling Infrastructure, India's first IoT enabled e waste bin, to encourage a positive shift in how electronic waste is managed. By linking communities and institutions with authorized recycling systems, PARI makes responsible disposal simple, visible, and accountable. Their shared vision brings together technology and circular design to make safe e waste management accessible across India and beyond.
